Aquatic Weed Control

Ryder Services aquatic management division - The Aqua Contractor, offer a specialist service cutting and removing pond weed from waterways including lochs, lakes, canals and rivers throughout the UK.

Our specialised work boats are fitted with double anti-coiling augers that allow for excellent propulsion & manoeuvrability in any conditions.

In order to cut problematic pond weeds our workboats use a front T-shaped cutting unit & double trailing knives. The T shaped cutter allows cutting to a depth of 4ft whereas the trailing knives cut to a depth of around 12ft.

Unlike many other aquatic weed cutting boats our work boat features a front loading system which is used to remove floating weeds and debris from the water.
